Admission at Mastermind English Medium School
Thank you for considering Mastermind English Medium School as the next step in your child’s education. We understand that choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a parent can make and we value the confidence and trust that families place in us.
Please study the following for a smooth experience of processing your child’s admission at Mastermind.



Admission Procedure
Prospective parents are warmly invited to contact us for admission information—whether by phone, email, or by visiting our school campus in person. To proceed with the application process, both parents and the child are required to visit the school to collect the admission form from our Head Office.
A nominal, non-refundable application fee of BDT 500/- is payable at the time of form collection.
Please submit the completed admission form along with the following documents to our School’s Admission Office:
- One recent passport-sized photograph of the student, both parents, and designated emergency contacts
- A copy of the child’s birth certificate
- A copy of the Transfer Certificate (if transferring from another school)
The Admission Office reviews applications based on a specified deadline or subject to seat availability. Once the application is reviewed, parents will be notified of an assessment date for their child, who will be required to sit for an admission test. Candidates meeting the criteria will be invited for an interview with the Vice Principal or the relevant department head, arranged by our Admission team.
Upon successful completion of the interview, parents will receive the Acceptance Letter and may proceed to finalize enrollment by paying the admission fee.

Assessment
For Play Group and Nursery, there is no formal admission test. Instead, a friendly interaction session with both the child and parents will be held by our Management Team to help us get to know your family better. For admission into KG1 to Class IX, registered applicants are required to sit for a written assessment. The assessment will cover two core subjects: English Language and Mathematics.
Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s performance in the written test, interview and the previous school performance. Final selection is subject to seat availability in the respective classes and the candidate’s performance in the previous class. The results of the Admission Test will be announced on the specified date
Successful candidates whose names are included in the list must pay the fee within a week or by the dates indicated on the list; otherwise, admission will automatically stand cancelled. To confirm enrollment, parents are required to collect the Acceptance Letter along with other necessary documents and make the full payment as per the school’s prescribed fee schedule. Please note that payment must be made in cash only at the time of admission.
If parents do not respond or confirm their interest within the specified time frame, the seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate on the Waiting List. In the event that parents are away from Dhaka, they are requested to confirm their child’s admission by contacting the school via telephone within the given timeframe.
BASED ON THE ADMISSION TESTS AND OTHER CRITERIA, THE SCHOOL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADMIT ONLY THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE FOUND TO BE SUITABLE FOR ADMISSION.
